Kate is originally from Colorado but has spent the last 9 years working in a variety of ICUs across the country. During her NP program, she gained valuable experience in overseeing the comprehensive healthcare needs of patients across all ages and demographics. She particularly enjoyed pediatrics, where she completed a specialty rotation in a Children’s Hospital sports medicine and orthopedic center, as well as Children’s Hospital ER. Kate also enjoyed her rotation at a college campus and OBGYN rotation at a Women’s Hospital (fast track/ER). 

Meet Virginia “Kate” Hallman, FNP-C!

Kate Hallman is a Family Nurse Practitioner at Steamboat Medical Group. Originally from Colorado, she brings over nine years of nationwide ICU experience and a strong background in comprehensive family care.

Kate earned her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Regis University. During her NP training, she gained broad clinical experience in orthopedics and sports medicine, pediatric emergency care, OB/GYN, urgent care, and primary care.

Kate has a special interest in pediatrics and women’s health and is passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate, and evidence-based care for patients of all ages.
